Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) in Organic Process R&D

Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) in Organic Process R&D This Conference is dedicated to process chemistry and organic synthesis (contrasting to previous PAT conferences and symposia which have been predominantly formulation focused). With an emphasis on the science and technology associated with the synthesis and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), the aim is to showcase the use of PAT as a tool for increasing process understanding, robustness, reproducibility and efficiency in API manufacture, both in development and commercial production. Regulatory and QA issues will be touched upon where appropriate.

CHIRAL Europe/USA

CHIRAL Europe/USA Chiral Europe/USA is an annual meeting which brings together speakers and delegates from the world's leading organisations to discuss and examine the impact of the latest developments in chiral chemistry. Together with a suppliers exhibition, this conference is a leading networking opportunity for chiral chemistry in Europe.

Developing Chemical Processes for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients

Developing Chemical Processes for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients This 2 day conference brings together chemists and engineers from all parts of the world to discuss issues related to synthetic route design, development and optimisation and the scale-up of these processes. The invited speakers are selected to emphasise their companies approach to these issues with detailed case studies.

Industrial Biotransformations

Industrial Biotransformations

Designer Enzymes for a New Era

The world's top-selling drug is being manufactured using a C-C bond forming reaction effected by a specially-tailored enzyme. Could your molecules benefit from the renaissance in biotransformations? Uncover the new approaches and advanced technologies which are making biocatalysis more than a "lucky dip" for organic chemists. (It's a lot more than just lipases and esterases!). This aims to be the main forum for organic chemists and biotechnologists working in process research and development and scale-up to hear about the latest advances in the field of biotransformations and network with an international audience. Speakers from all areas of the chemical and biotechnology industry (pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, fine chemicals, flavour and fragrances and colour chemistry) to present case studies and examples of the problems and successes in process R & D.

Laboratory Automation

Faster Process Development - New Tools for New Challenges

This 2 day conference and exhibition examines the current state of automation, both on milligram and multigram scale in chemical development. The meeting provides an excellent forum for the equipment designers to meet the chemists and to express their views and revolutionise this state of the art area.

MedChem Europe

The conference and two seminars, in assocation with the Biofine Exhibition, will highlight up to 20 case studies from different therapeutic areas which illustrate how efficient and successful discovery, and lead optimisation of new chemical entities can be achieved.

MedChem USA

Focusing on Problem Solving

The conference will highlight up to 20 case studies from different therapeutic areas which illustrate how efficient and successful discovery, and lead optimisation of new chemical entities can be achieved.

Modern Synthetic Methods & Chiral Europe

Modern Synthetic Methods & Chiral Europe

Reaction to Reality

This conference has been designed to provide discovery, medicinal and process chemists with a forum to meet with academia to discuss novel organic synthetic methods useful in research and development. The focus is on key transformations such as carbon-carbon bond forming reactions, oxidation and reduction, formation and reactions of heterocyclic molecules, biotransformations and bioprocessing technologies etc. There will also be one day devoted to chiral technology, focusing on new science and the latest developments in chiral chemistry. Topics include: asymmetric chemocatalysis, biocatalysis, new analytical and separation techniques and the development of important chiral pharmaceuticals.

New Horizons in Catalysis

New Horizons in Catalysis

The Art of Catalysis in Process Chemistry

Hype or reality? Much has been made of developments in catalysis in organic chemistry, including asymmetric catalysis, organocatalysis and biocatalysis. This new Scientific Update event aims to bring together industrial chemists and academics, to learn about emerging catalytic methods and their industrial application. Featuring top speakers from academia and industry, and aligned with the Biofine exhibition, this event will provide industrial chemists with an unparalleled opportunity to explore how catalysis is beginning to change the landscape of process chemistry.

Optimising Organic Reactions

Enhancing Your Productivity & Quality through Laboratory Automation & Process Analytical Technology

This new conference and exhibition incorporates elements of Laboratory Automation and Optimising Organic Reactions. Topics embraced include optimisation and fine tuning of organic reactions, development of robust processes for manufacture, automated catalyst screening, automated screening of reaction conditions, statistical design of experiments (DoE), factorial design, Simplex methodology, response surface modelling, critical process parameter identification and robustness testing to facilitate process validation, application of reaction monitoring and process analytical technologies, and crystallisation control. Meet and network with process chemists, chemical engineers, process technologists, and proponents of statistical design to discuss the latest developments in the field of organic reaction optimisation.
