Asymmetric Hydrovinylation

A brief summary of latest results in the area of asymmetric hydrovinylation has appeared (Goossen L J, Angew Chem Int Ed, 2002, 41, 3775). The methodology has been applied to the synthesis of ibuprofen from isobutylstyrene (Park H et al, J Amer Chem Soc, 2002, 124, 734 and Francio G et al, J Amer Chem Soc, 2002, 124, 736).
