This paper from a Canadian company called OmegaChem describes the use of a family of novel reagents for deoxofluorination that offer advantages over reagents such as DAST and Deoxofluor. Aminodifluorosulphinium salts can be used in place of DAST or Deoxofluor but are usually more selective giving less by-products arising from elimination. They are crystalline solids that have better thermal stability than DAST and Deoxofluor and do not react violently with water. Yields are generally 85-95%.
