Carboamination

Whilst there are many methods for making C-N bonds such as displacement of a leaving group and reductive amination of course, the introduction of additional enantioselective methods are always of interest.  D N Mai and J P Wolfe describe a palladium catalysed carboamination reaction (JACS, 2010, 132, (35), 12157) which uses straightforward substrates to give enantio-enriched pyrrolidines.
