Are you sure your Suzuki or other cross coupling reaction requires a transition metal catalyst?

A recent paper (N.E. Leadbeater, Ang. Chem. Int. Edn, 2003, 42, 1407) indicates that some Suzuki couplings will give good yields when carried out under microwave conditions IN THE ABSENCE OF TRANSITION METALS.
