Contemporary Strategies in Organic Synthesis

9 - 12 September 2008, Nice, France

A 4 day course given by
Professor Joe Sweeney, University of Reading, Professor Steve Caddick, University College London, Dr Alison Hulme, University of Edinburgh, Professor Billy Kerr, University of Strathclyde, Dr Alan Spivey, Imperial College, Dr Steve Marsden, University of Leeds, Professor Alan Armstrong, Imperial College

Introduction

The material covered is presented by a group of talented, enthusiastic, academics from European Universities. The lectures focus on Contemporary Strategies in Organic Synthesis stressing the important literature in 2000-2006 and highlighting those, which will be of importance to chemists in industry.

This course is intensive, but in a relaxed informal atmosphere which makes for an enjoyable 4 days.

The comprehensive course manual, containing copies of all the material presented, enables maximum literature coverage with the minimum of note taking required. Extensive references are also included for future reference.
The tutorials are designed to enhance the lecture material by application to problems in organic synthesis.
